You might say that I’ve contracted a case of the “give-me” spirit. Symptoms: outstretched hands, tear-streaked cheeks, aching hearts, and bended knees. Prognosis? Full recovery.
My desire for all of us is to receive the abundant life that God promises to His children. I love the image of God taking the ordinary lives that the world offers and transforming them into extraordinary, eternal ones. The indwelling of His Holy Spirit within us brings spiritual wealth and abundance. I want to see more love, more joy, and more peace in my life. A conduit, if you will, for all within my sphere of influence. The best part of this desire is that God is right on board; this is a prayer you know will be answered. I charge you to become desperate with a case of the “give-mes”. Let our hearts’ cry this year simply be “MORE”.
